Your Feldenkrais journey awaits
My Feldenkrais Story
My Feldenkrais journey began about 10 years ago, after an accident and concussion left me with many questions. Through both Awareness Through Movement ® classes, and Functional Integration ® I began to find a path to recovery and improvement in both dance and life. My sense of balance improved, and I finally found a movement approach that eased my pain. It was during this time that I knew I had to continue learning this practice.
In 2023 I graduated from the San Diego Feldenkrais ATM Teacher Training program under the direction of Arlyn Zones and in 2025 from the East/West Practitioner Training Program under the direction of Elizabeth Beringer.
As a dance and creative movement teacher for children, The Feldenkrais Method has guided my work to those young one’s currently experiencing learning difficulties. I believe that even for adults, the lessons of this work are directly tied to how we learn as a child. Through each ATM ( Awareness Through Movement) lesson, one can find vital connections to the components of specific movement, i.e learning how to stand. The Feldenkrais Method can show us the way of improvement that we innately carry, even if we simply need a reminder. In this way, I believe the method is universal: it’s for everyone at any age and level of learning. There are no limits to finding improvement, especially with a curious mind!
